Starbound Update!

Changelog for v. Angry Koala  23/12/2013

A ton of new content in this update. We’ve added a bunch of new features to world generation,

which might require you to start on a new universe / your ship might be deleted. To make sure you get access to all the new

crafting items you either need to unlock sectors again or create a new character.

Also..

- Added skyrails based on Apjjms mod!

- Added a brand new weather system, moddable weather/new environment effects

- Hydrophobic objects are destroyed by all liquids

- Trees can now be planted

- Critical items stay on the ground longer

- Some new monster behaviours

- You must now be orbiting a planet to set it as your home

- Free teleportation to home planet from ships teleporter

- add acid rain, meteor showers, water collecting during storms and more

- made species mods easier to combine with one another

- add support for keysignature and keysignature changes for the abc system

- Disable speedlimit for default projectiles to fix inaccurate bullets

Little Big Adventure is an action-adventure game developed by Adeline Software International and first released at the end of 1994. It was published in Europe by Electronic Arts and in North America, Asia and Oceania under the name Relentless: Twinsen's Adventure by Activision. Over 400,000 copies of the game were sold worldwide in the first release. The game was initially released on CD-ROM and some time later on floppy disks; the CD-ROM version featured full motion video, music and speech whereas the floppy disk version has MIDI music files and still images to replace the videos. The game was later ported to the PlayStation, and released in Europe and Japan. A sequel was released under the name of Little Big Adventure 2 (also known as Twinsen's Odyssey).

Been a fun game to play again, bringing back some good memories. Never actually finished the game when I played it back then and now I can say I did :-) Towards the end in the last part it became a bit of a pain at moments. Some bugs, some missing hints/clues and a seemingly un-beatable monster fight. Would rate it a 7 out of 10. Could have scored better if it wasn't for the frustration it started to give me in part 3 of this playthrough.

Little Big Adventure, full playthrough part 3

Tonight I will be streaming more Little Big Adventure on Twitch. Might be able to finish this playthrough of Relentless: Twinsen's Adventure, just not sure how much longer it will actually take.

I will be streaming the sequel, Little Big Aventure 2: Twinsen's Odyssey as well, but most likely not before next weekend. I want to play/stream something else first.

Broadcast page fixed

Fixed the broadcast page because the embed code changed links from Justin TV to Twitch TV. The dual stream video/chat embed should now properly work again. You can watch any two Twitch channels at the same time! Not sure if this still works for JTV channels, but I doubt it, so stick to Twitch channels only.

Life's a Twitch

So yay, back to streaming and Twitch has not changed a frikkin' bit. Chat is being a pain. The delay is even worse now or should I say terrible. Their buffers can't seem to handle anymore, resulting in the video having to load all the time ... OMFG, please Twitch, start fixing things and invest in some good quality servers!!! Seems like they don't really give a fuck and instead of fixing things they try to up the load on their servers resulting in all this kind of bullshit. Way to go, why not get even more contracts and built in streaming apps on whatever platform or game, so the load gets even worse. Ain't it sweet to have sort of a Monopoly on streaming games ... * sigh *

Starbound: another update and Bug video

Starbound has yet again updated, but no wipe though, although still recommended to start a new character. I decided to continue on the Universe we were playing on lately unless we all want to start over.

I will start a new character myself though after what happened last night it doesn't seem to matter much anymore. Have a look for yourself:

TeamSpeak/Minecraft and Starbound

Both the TeamSpeak and Minecraft server have moved and now have a new IP. There was hardly any down-time, so I am pretty happy about that. Ways to join both are still the same since I use a DNS.

Starbound has yet again been updated! No wipe this time though, but to fully experience the new patch, it is recommended to start a new character. To prevent incompatibility with the server, I would advise to turn off the auto-update feature for Starbound on Steam!

Rockstar hosting is moving

We will be experiencing some down-time while Rockstar hosting is moving. This means that my Minecraft server and the TeamSpeak may be down for a couple of days. All for the better though and no worries, we will be back on as soon as possible. Thank you all for your patience.

Starbound update!

Sadly enough, the last update wipes characters, but this was to be expected as the game is still in beta. The Starbound server I am running right now has been updated and cleared as well. We will have to start completely fresh again!
